(FEE) is a regional non-profit organization based in Racine, WI seeking a dynamic, creative, and energetic leader to serve as Executive Director.
About Fight to End Exploitation, Inc.:
FEE was founded in 2014. Since its beginning, FEE’s core mission focuses on a collaborative network that advocates for victims and educates the community. FEE accomplishes this mission through: 1) assisting and preventing victims through trained professional advocates; 2) providing technical training to system partners such as social workers, case workers, educators and law enforcement; and, 3) providing community awareness on human trafficking through speakers and community events.
The Executive Director leads the organization, under the guidance of the Board of Directors, manages an annual budget of approximately $150,000. The Executive Director serves as principal spokesperson for FEE to the broader community, including political and business leaders, and federal, state and local government staff and officials. The Executive Director oversees the day to day operations of the organization. That includes providing guidance in the strategic development and implementation of all programs; overseeing financial, human resource, and grants management; developing, ensuring and maintaining a diversified funding stream to support program implementation; helping to lead development and fundraising efforts; manage website and social media platforms: and serving as primary liaison to the Board of Directors. The position is a 30 hour per week, part time position at the present time.
Expertise and Skills Required:
The Executive Director will be an energetic, creative, and goal-oriented leader with:
• exceptional leadership and management skills,
• demonstrated capability to develop partnerships and identify creative solutions,
• ability to serve as an articulate spokesperson for FEE,
• experience with staff, financial and administrative management of organizations,
• experience in development and fundraising, including foundation and government grants as well as corporate and private donations.
The Executive Director will have at least a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in administration, human resources or a related field, including at least 1 year experience in a leadership and management role. Previous experience working with non-profit organizations and any related advanced degrees or certifications are also desirable.
Location: The Executive Director will be based at the FEE office in Racine, WI with an ability to travel throughout southeastern Wisconsin, as needed.
Salary: Salary based on experience and qualifications.
